- You must be an administrator for the program to work correctly.
- Create Windows to migrate from ISO, WIM, VHD, VHDX or CD/DVD drive.
- Clone Windows 11/10/8/7 to USB/Thunderbolt Drive as Portable Windows.
- Create a Windows To Go Uncertified USB Flash Drive for Windows to go to.
- Encrypt Windows with BitLocker to keep your data safe.
- Create a Windows installation USB drive with BIOS and UEFI support.
- Use any version of Windows 11/10/8/7 and Windows Server 2019/2016/2012/2010 to create a Windows To Go USB drive.
- Support for Thunderbolt drives and drives with sector sizes other than 512 bytes.
- Windows Vista/7/2008/2008 R2 do not support USB 3.0, so Windows Vista/7/2008/2008 R2 will have to boot from USB 2.0 port.
- USB flash drives are very slow, so installing and running Windows OS from a USB flash drive will take a long time. It is recommended to use a USB HDD.
- The Windows To Go drive is bootable on different computers, so you can use it on any computer.
- Windows 7 will not be fully portable: activation and driver issues may occur when booting on different computers.
- To work with WinToUSB - You must have computer administrator rights.
